How to cook Medu Vada Recipe.
Ingredients:
·        
Urad dal - 2 cups (socked over night)
·        
Curry leaves - 3 sprigs
·        
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup (Chopped)
·        
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
·        
Dry coconut pieces – 2 teaspoons
·        
Green chillies  - 2 teaspoons (Finally chopped)
·        
Pinch of Baking Soda
·        
Salt to taste
·        
Oil for deep fry
Method:
01.  Take
a mix jar, add soacked urad dal, close the lid and grind well.  Add 1/4 th cup of water, close the lid and
grind well once again, take out into a bowl.
02.  Add
Dry coconut pieces (chopped), curry leaves, green chilli (chopped), Coriander
leaves (chopped), cumin seeds, salt to taste, pinch of baking soda and mix
well, keep aside.
03.  Take
a pan on the flame, add oil for deep fry and heat it.
04.  Test
the batter should correct or not, take a little batter and drop into the water,
when the batter should come up then the batter should correct.
05.  Wet
your hand and take a portion of mixer,  place
on a polythene cover, flatten it lightly and make a hole in the centre, drop in
the hot oil, make all vadas as same method.
06.  Deep
fry all the vadas till both side they become golden brown color.
07.  Take
out into a serving plate.


08.  Serve
hot with peanut chutney or fresh coconut chutney.
