How to cook Aloo Masala Curry  – Aloo Tomato masala curry

Ingredients:
     ·         Potatoes, chopped - 1/2 Kg
     ·         Tomatoes, Chopped -1/4 Kg
     ·         Fenugreek Leaves, Chopped - 1/4 Cup
     ·         Fresh coriander leaves, chopped- 1/4 Cup
     ·         Onions, Chopped - 1 Cup
     ·         Green chillies, slit  - 7 to 8
     ·         pealed garlic pods – 4
     ·         Cloves – 5
     ·         Fresh Coconut Pieces – 8
     ·         Red Chilli Powder - 2 teaspoons
     ·         Salt to taste
     ·         Oil - 3 tablespoons
     ·         Turmeric Powder - 1 teaspoon


            Method:
  • 1  In a Mix Jar add crushed garlic pods, Add Fresh coconut pieces, Add Cloves  and Pour little bit of water Close the lid and grind well and keep aside.
    2.      Heat oil in the Cooker, Add Fenugreek Leaves, chopped, Add Green Chilli slits, Add Onion, Chopped and stir - fry for half a minute on medium heat.
    3.      Now add turmeric powder, Add Potato Pieces stir - fry for 2 to 3 minutes on medium heat.
    4.      Add Chopped Tomatoes, stir - fry for 2 to 3 minutes on medium heat.
    5.      Add Red Chilli powder and salt to taste now don't mix or stir, put the lid and cook under pressure till 3 whistles are given out.
    6.      open the lid and stir well, Now Add the coconut  masala paste and stir - fry for more 2 to 3 minutes on low heat.
    7.      Now pour 1 cup of water, mix well and put the lid and cook under pressure till 2 whistles are given out.
    8.      switch off the flame and wait for 5 minutes and open the lid Now Add Fresh Coriander Leaves, mix well and take out into a serving bowl.
