(Indian Famous Festival Recipe) Happy Sankranthi Pongal Recipe
Ingrediants:
Rice - 1 cup
Moong Dal - 1/4 Cup
Salt to taste ( 1- T
spoon)
Curry Leaves - 2 to
3 bunches
Ghee - 2 Spoons
Black Pepper -
4   to 5
Black Pepper Powder
- 1 T spoon
Cumin seeds - 1 T
spoon
Cashew Nuts - 10
Method:- Take a Bowl and add rice, add moong dal, Pour water,
wash well and keep a side, Place a cooker on the flame, Add ghee, Add Cumin
seeds,  Add Cashew Nuts, Stir well, Add
curry leaves, stir well and fry well, Add chopped ginger, Add Black Pepper
Powder, Add Black Pepper – 4 to 5, stir well and fry well, Add rice & moong
dal and mix well, Fry for 2 minutes and keep stirring regularly, pour 4 cups of
water and add salt to taste or 1 t spoon, mix well and close the lid and cook
for until 3  whistles, after 3 whistles switch
off the flame and wait for 10 minutes and open the lid, now Sankranti pongali  is ready to serve. Thank you.. Please
